She used popularity as a disguise

by Hayley   Dec 12, 2005

You found her lying on her bed,
You knew with one look, she was dead
So many questions entered your head.

Why, did she have to go?
How did no one know?
I guess all this goes to show,

That she was burning up inside
She was left with only scars to hide
And now heaven she is where her soul resides.

She wore long sleeve blouses everyday
No one knew the price that she would pay
Just to fit in, just to belong, she got lost along the way.

She went to a party every single night
It was so much better than listening to her parents fight.
She hid in her popularity and no one knew what she did to herself.

Every night she would sit and talk to her best friend,
Secretly, cutting and wishing for life to end.
No one caught on to how far she would bend...

...for someone to care.

*This is just to let you all know that the prettiest most popular girls cut and wish to die. Its not always the loners or whatever you all want to call them that cut, some just hide it better...*
