Unanswered Prayers

They say that God is always listening and God always cares; well if this is true, then why do I have all of these unanswered prayers? Each night i prayed for God to take my life, I wanted him to end it all with a rope, a gun, or a knife. At athat point in time, I really didn't care. Then late one night I prayed a new prayer. Again my prayer was not answered and alone I stayed. But I was determined to get what I wanted, so night after night I still prayed. Then one day I saw an angel who spoke to me and my heart dropped. When I realized my heart had been stolen, thats when the praying had stopped. Sometimes it may seem like God no longer cares; but now I thank God for unanswered prayers.
