Cursed to Live

Depressed in this foreboding world
Consumed by my fears and hate
My tormenting past plaguing my distorted mind
Actions appearing blissful at best melancholy at worst
But if you peer into my eyes my soul
A different side you shall see
Overcome with death, suicide, rage, revenge....
Where hope is a cruel trap
A trick sending you further down this hellish abyss
Trained to lie; to act, to show strength
"Yes everything is fine and there is always a light at the end of every tunnel."
Axiom in my life is that the light at the end of the tunnel is a train
Headed to kill a little more of me.
A wolf in sheep's clothing or a sheep in wolf's clothing?
Which am I...Both
Forever changing never growing
Stuck in an open cage... surrounded by my demons
They render me paralyzed...with nothing to do
But stare upon my open door
Slowly dieing ...already dead
Nothing left but my flesh
My innocence taken the day I started to die
The day in which I was born
Cursed to live
To see what I have seen
Images burned into my memory
Scares unseen from troubles unheard
Cries that fell upon the death and blind
No tears left but the ones I cry inside
Inside where I live in solitude and casuistic safety
