I miss you my friend,
with all my longing heart.
What on earth went wrong?
Why have we drifted apart?
Was it something i did?
was it something i said?
I tried to be the best friend i could,
and without i feel so dead..
The weeks slowly pass by,
And i miss you more with each coming day.
Everyday i yearn to call you,
But i wouldn't know what to say.
Should i tell you how I've been feeling?
Or should i simply let it go?
and continue living my life without you,
and never let that pain show?
Do you ever think about calling me?
Do you remember all the memories we had?
I hope our friendship was true,
not like an ever-passing fad.
All that keeps me going sometimes,
Is your loving and kind words softly telling me "I'm always here for you."
But these words are slowly starting to fade away,
and your calls are becoming few.
I can't explain how i miss you,
Hopefully i will have enough strength to let you know.
So here is a poem i have written for you,
So hopefully i can show,
That i still want to be best friends,
I'm always here for you.
and each night i silently pray to God,
that you haven't found someone new..
