Broken Mirror

When i look into my mirror,
I sadly look away.
Why can't i be like the other girls?
so perfect in every way.
I try to go on living,
but sometimes it's to much to take.
Sometimes i just feel so ugly,
Maybe I'm just a mistake?
I try to fight my depression,
but it's getting so hard to bear.
My heart is slowly breaking,
Does anyone even care?
I try to put a happy face on,
But i am hiding behind a mask.
No one knows how I'm feeling on the inside,
no one has cared enough to ask.
So I'll just sit here crying,
Wishing someone was here to catch each tear.
But my only companion shattered on my lap,
Is my newly broken mirror..
