My Baby's Birth

by ~@ngel Whisperer~   Dec 13, 2005

My beautiful boy, on the day of your birth,
'twas the first day that season that snow fell to earth.
'Twas 2:32 in the morning before
the day of Thanksgiving when we eat feasts galore.
I awoke in our bed with my stomach so tight,
and knew you were coming- your timing was just right!
I woke up your father, and he arose with a start.
He asked, "Are you sure?", then 'round the house he began to dart.
Daddy scraped off the car windows, and fought through the snow.
It was beautiful, and bright, and how the wind did blow!
We arrived at the hospital, and they ushered us in.
They got me all comfy, then it was time to begin.
You finally made your entrance at 1:33,
and we became the most blessed parents there could ever be.
You were so precious, so quiet, so small.
You're still very precious, but not so quiet now at all!
You are truly a gift God has sent from above.
You're our little angel from heaven-a bundle of love.
Our lives are complete with a beautiful son.
It's a beautiful life, and our adventure's just begun.

Dedicated to my beautiful son
