Simply beautiful Simon...... love the words you chose to describe her and your feelings.

It's an absolute joke that this poem is currently rating less than 4. I like the way you write, kind of dreamy, the way I like to write. I prefer short poems also, I wrote one called "Raft of Problems" maybe you'll like. If I had my way I'd only write a couple of stanzas every time and leave it ambiguous and up to the reader to make of it what they will. Unfortunately, most people like long saga like poems it seems on this site, so maybe this is why you haven't scored so well on this one.

But don't let it dishearten you, I don't think you should change a thing, your poems are intelligent and heartfelt.
