My Best Friends

by ~@ngel Whisperer~   Dec 13, 2005

In life, there are those friendships
that come and go as they please.
Then there are those people
who flock when there's a crises.
You can have friends in high places,
and those that just lay low.
Some have two faces,
and some that are just faux.

My friends are ones that know me well,
our bond is to the soul.
We come running when one's in need.
We're not just playing a role.

We've dried up tears,
and given high fives,
celebrated accomplishments
in each of our lives.

We've been through it all,
through thick and through thin.
We're as close as it comes.
We're practically kin!

We're the clan of
Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church.
You'll never find better friends,
no matter how far you search.

Our bond is forever,
we'll grow old as one.
Always together,
our adventure's just begun.

Through laughter, adventure,
frustration and heart-sore,
through good times and bad times,
our friendships will soar.

Our children will know
the nature of true friends.
That it rises above all,
and all things it mends.

My friends are my family,
I hold them so dear.
Even if they're far away,
they're really very near.

In my heart they'll always be,
we're a rowdy bunch of gals.
A fun-loving, caring, soulful bunch
of wonderful gal-pals!

To my five beautiful friends who have been there for 14+ years...we're still holding on...
