Rejected heart

So once again it's over
another heartache I must mend
I gave to you my bitter heart~
now you've put your feelings to an end.

I should have seen this coming
why didn't I recognize the clues?
I knew I should not have became involved~
so why am I surprised with this bad news?

Every time I get myself caught up
somebody goes and lets me down
although I've been promised forever~
my forever still has not been found.

So what does it take to touch you?
I gave you everything I had of me
still you chose to walk away~
and you no longer feel love for me.
