Missing You

by ~@ngel Whisperer~   Dec 13, 2005

Translucent green eyes gaze into the light
and watch for the setting sun.
Under eyelashes there appears a collection of tears,
and the sadness and sorrow has begun.

I can't live a day without seeing your face,
or feeling your arms hold me tight.
Or survive a time when you're not there
to protect me throughout the night.

I'm missing you so much that I can't go on 'til I feel you again.
I need you here to hold me near.
I know you'll come back, but when?

I need you tonight, so come hold me tight,
and don't let me go 'till the dawn.
But you are not here, or are anywhere near,
so I'll miss you while you are gone.
