One Of These Days

We started out as friends,
cause we were both already attached
to someone else, but we couldn't stop
as friends and leave each other alone.

You promised we would be together,
said that if i would leave, so would you.
And once we'd broken it off, we
could finally be together.

I did my part, and waited for you.
You said to give it time, just to wait.
Time went by, but yet you still kissed her.
And then your chance came and you broke my heart.

You told me OOTD, but i didn't understand.
You said "One Of These Days, I just can't
hurt her right now" and then walked away.
But, You hurt me more than your ever understand.
