Without the stranger

by physco   Dec 13, 2005

Your eyes filled with such hate,
So much anger pouring out of you,
So many things unknown,
I wish i understood the pain you went through.

But i guess i never can,
Or so you keep telling me,
Maybe you should open your eyes,
Cos my life isn't just a fairytale dream.

You think its all about you,
That your the only one who has pain,
But look deep in my soul,
And see what i have yet to gain.

You think your the only one who cuts,
Well take a good look at my wrist!
I bet you had no idea,
That my life too is like this...

Look deep into my family tree,
Its not easy to hide these emotions,
Look deeper and actually see me,
Try putting my life in slow motion.

See that things arnt as they seem,
That most of the smiles are fake,
Look deeper into my heart,
And see that my life i cant take.

I guess its kinda funny,
How i always put the stranger first,
Always solved his problems,
Before daring to clench my thirst.

You say you all know me so well,
But if any of that is true,
Where the f u c k are you now?
Don't you see,
I'm dying without you...

Very powerful. A real eye-opener. Sometimes we don't really see who is suffering and think that no one could have it as bad. Great job!
