I wish...

by Tim Bradshaw   Dec 13, 2005

I wish you could observe my pain,
And experience it for a day.
You would then notice why I drink,
And why I choose to go on this way.

I wish you could comprehend,
Why tears stream down like rain.
But you could never even bare,
The sight of my revolting pain.

I wish you could get me away,
From this place crammed with hate.
Drag me out of this sunken ship,
Straight to the heavenly gate.

I wish I had a say in life,
A chance to decide my destiny.
But the plate that I was served in life,
Was filled only with misery.

I wish you would end it all,
And set my aches free.
Please end this hectic life I live,
I wish you would take me.
