In the cold streets,
Where my head is bent down,
I walk along,
And I think to myself.

Only an hour ago,
Were you sitting with me,
Laughing like crazy,
Happy as could be.

Rings on our fingers,
Hand in hand,
Things couldn\'tâ??t get better,
I thought.

Out into the night,
Out in the cold,
I shudder with sadness,
And emptiness thatâ??s not old.

I feel the love leak through my heart,
Right to the spot,
That tears me apart.
Tears fall faster,
While I run away.

What could tear good love away,
While I runâ?¦
I cry and I cryâ?¦
Nothings getting through to me,
Not even a lie.

You were in my arms,
Just not long ago,
Why were you taken,
Why did I have to let you go.

It was love that took you away,
Took you away from me,
We were so happy,
It just had to let sadness free.

Taking you away,
Was the only thing that could hurt,
And now that your gone,
Tears running free,
I have no where to start.

My mother always told me,
Find love or die trying,
And I did.
But now that your gone,
I donâ??t know where to beginâ?¦

Should I start new,
Should I start fresh,
Should I feel happy,
Or should I be stressed?

For everything that I say,
In a poem of my heartâ?¦
Iâ??ll never really love againâ?¦
For love took you away from meâ?¦
And thatâ?¦could never make me happy.
