Daddy's last Prayer

"When I see your smile baby,
Everything in my world seems alright.
When I hear your voice,
I am able to sleep at night.

I hate to have to leave,
But I am your angel, I am your light.

He smiled with Glee.

"Don't let life hurt you,
And never fake your smile.
It's more beautiful than ever,
It could go on for miles and miles.

Dream of me at night,
and I will do the same.
Don't let words hurt you,
Don't let them make you feel invisible or lame.

Baby I pray that you live happily,
and life treats you how it should.
I'm always by your side,
I'd stay here if I could.

If you need somebody to cry to,
Just look up to me in Heaven.
I will try to wipe away your tears,
I will be here for the rest of your years.
