Tracing

by Timothy S   Dec 14, 2005

Running my fingers along the outline of her face
How soft and silky her skin is, how beautiful the pain
The feeling of drops falling into her soul, seeing the stains
Rubbing softly, all the ugly spawnings of happiness that remain
Protection against the dawning of depression in vain
I wipe away the infections I let in through my ignorance
Filling in spots left empty with my tear stained lips
Leaving imprints of my soul in places undiscovered
Loving every second I've got her under my control
Uncovering the essence of beauty that she holds
Relentless vanity extinguishing my battered whole
Secreting all I can from her to finish my mold
Of myself in a mirror, diminishing before this world
But superior to dead, from her I'll learn to be beautiful

Wow, you write so beautifully, I can't put it in any other words; but your poetry is really amazing...
