Carry a message

by debbie   Dec 14, 2005

Let the wind whisper to you,
the warmth of the sun caress your neck.
Let the rain take all the teardrops,
I've cried since you have left.

Take away the distance,
Banish the time we are apart.
Ask the birds to carry this message,
coming straight from my heart.

That my days feel long without you,
I'm finding it hard to sleep at night.
I dream of waking up beside you,
with your arms holding me tight.

The waves of the ocean are yelling,
bees are humming your name.
Trees are whispering to me,
he loves you, try again.

Tell him what you're feeling,
believe the message in his eyes.
Cause the windows of his soul,
tell the truth and never lies.

So I'll ask nature around me,
to whisper to you my name.
To let you know I love you,
life without you isn't the same.
