Welsh Pride

by debbie   Dec 14, 2005

The anticipation of the crowd,
the hope of victory all around.
The sounds of voices,
they join as one,
As our dear country's game is begun.
Then one voice sings,
to become a great one.
As the Anthem of Wales,
is rejoiced and sung.
The strength of passion,
the sense of pride.
All voices sing,
to give courage to their side.
The whistle blows,
but still they sing.
hoping and praying their side will win.
Wait! He's there!
He's got the ball,
He's clear,
Go on!, A try,
Yes, hear the roar.
The cheers, the silence,
he props the ball.
He kicks, it soars.
The score is grown more.
There's no stopping now,
for again the rejoice has begun.
And once again the voice sings,
We sing as one.
