Ilan

You're gone already,
At such a young age.
I guess I need to move on,
Flip to the next page.

We had good times,
We played basketball infront of my house,
And you'd always beat me,
But compared to you I was like a little mouse.

We haven't talked for the longest time.
I wish i could hear your voice just one last time.
But you're no longer here,
So you'll only be able to hear mine.

At a time like this,
I need your spiritual hugs,
Because I'm feeling so down that you're gone,
I might even turn to drugs.

You will always be remembered,
Our memories will always last.
I know you'll always be with me,
Even though you have passed.

It kills me that i won't ever see you again,
But I have to accept the fact that you're gone.
It hurts but I can guarantee you,
That our memories will go on and on.

I'm sorry for you. You never said, for who it was but it was so personal that somebody important must have died. The poem was great, I really loved the first four lines
