Sorry

by Silverbrant   Dec 14, 2005

Cold and Beautiful,
A winter day in spring,
She stares into my eyes,
I look back at hers
her wonderful blue eyes,

Her pale cheeks
and light hair;
cold and harsh.
But like windows
to her loving soul
her eyes and lips
warm and intriguing

But she slowly starts to fade,
Slowly at first but getting faster,
Shes gone
My eyes flame,
Red and angry
and wings unfurl
dark and powerful

I leep desperately toward her
its lost
She turns; slowly.
"I'm sorry" she says
and stretches out a hand
to someone else

I fall I fal I fall
My eyes hiss out
my wings are gone
so is she
so am I
Left bare and ugly

Alone

I'm sorry too
