You left me here to cry myself to sleep every night
forcing smiles that are always tight
replaying in my head all the times that we would fight.

you left me here
with my heart broken in two
all because of you
and there is nothing i can do.

you left me here
with nothing to keep the pain away
knowing you will not be back
and you will never stay
hating myself
day to day.

you left me here
to wonder whats wrong with me
to think that I am a catastrophe
and so alone there is no one to disagree
because you left me.

But one day
my heart will heal
and my smiles will feel real

one day i will not cry myself to sleep
and the hate i hold for myself
will not seem so deep.

one day I will accept the fact that you are gone
