All my love

by Shaw   Dec 14, 2005

My family all get together
We all laugh and smile
We guess its a joy time
And it stays for a while

My cousin sits and plays
And my cats knock the tree
The adults drink wine
The children run free

The turkey bakes softly
While the Christmas songs play
The cards stand strong
And the coldness goes away

The snow falls to the ground
The children make snow men
the wifes laugh and gossip
And the men; talk again

The house warms with happiness
And the tree shines bright
The stars twinkle freely
As the moon lights the night

The fairly dazzles with Colour
And the table layed out neat
All my family around me
Pull up a oak seat

Pulling our crackers
My family laugh with joy
The little one arguing
Over who gets the small toy

A tear drops from my Momma eye
And everyone bows there head
And in grace they close there eyes
And a prayer from my Granddad is said

Dear God
Thank you for the food
That is layed from your hands
Thank you for the tree
Thank you for everything we see

Thank you for my daughters
Thank you for my sons
Thank you for my grandchildren
And thank you for my number one

We bow our heads in respect
Just to say a small thank you
You have gave us everything
Thank you for the family thats grew

Amen

A smile spread across
Each and everyones face
And we the love for one another
Grew in this other place

We saw the happiness in one another
And we said thanks to up above
We shared our love to one another
Merry Christmas all; All my Love
