Falling

Just another silly girl,
immature, naive and cold,
never felt any warmth,
until he showed her what she was always told.

time passes by,
it was never easy,
and its scary how time flies,
she loved him so much, i guess it was a bit cheesy.

but it used to go like this; each time she falls,
he would be there holding her hand,
she'd stand back up quickly,
continuing to walk this land.

hand in hand,
side by side,
thats how it used to be,
but now, it doesn't seem like a possibility.

she's fallen again,
he's fallen as well,
but they are on the floor,
not wanting to get back up, everyone can tell.

confused and scared,
they continue to fall alone,
they have no idea, except this winter weather is now cold to the bone.

it was OK all along,
who, what, where, when, why and how?
what went wrong?
but he pushed her away, so its all just falling now.

this fall won't just scratch her,
her and her heart,
its like a scar,
the first and deepest one, she has to carry from the start.
