Wow, i can completely relate to that, its an excellent poem. i think ur friend will probably work it out, and it explains the addiction really well, so it should make more sense to him. i know how hard it is to say it out loud to people, so if u feel its easier this way, then have a go. try and think positively about the 3 weeks, thats excellent.
