What it life?

Life is short as we all can see
but I don't know what's life
so can you tell me?

All the pain inside makes feel like you are dead
so if there is something known as life
tell me so I can get it through my head

The struggles, and shame bring you all the way down
so if I didn't have a life then
I sure don't have one now

When am I alive and when am I dead
I don't know the difference
if you know, tell me when my so call life will end.

Life is never there if you don't know what it is
do you the meaning the life?
or are you just another person like me?
