Falling Farther and Farther 2

by Mathew   Dec 15, 2005

As I fall farther and farther
And then I suddenly stop,
I come to a sudden realization
I had never really been falling

When I stop dream falling
Coming to realize that I am really climbing,
Climbing the seeable tree
The red tree that can not be physically grasped

After falling, down and down
The deep, bright hole,
The falling stops and is replaced with climbing
The climbing of what seems to grow

While falling means without will
I climb because I want to,
I want to climb, knowing there is no top
And whenever I get close to the top
Hopefully, it will get longer and longer.

Although I climb, the hardest climb of all
Once I start climbing, I dream of climbing with you,
Making the journey softer and easier
Caring you when you need me

The tree that is every where
This tree that I wish to climb,
This tree that is a haven from my worries
This tree is love
