My Nightly Desire

My head cannot rest without you
I need you here to calm my soul
Your scent lingers across our home
My heart so lonesome!

Our life is one, two people joined
Our love is rich and so exotic
Our friendship a fountain - forever flowing
Our time together, so precious

One word is all I need
One kiss is all I desire
One touch is all we need
One smile, one laugh, one love!

I yearn for you
My heart pines for you
I eagerly await your return home
The night soon to be morning

Soft lips upon my cheeks
Warm arms embracing me
My love now returned
Reunited souls, now peaceful!
