WE'RE NOT ALONE

by TOM ZART   Dec 15, 2005

WE'RE NOT ALONE

Human survival consists of two groups,
The overseers and the rest who obey.
Man can't help but persecute man,
By the darkness of night or the light of day.

Our time on earth is a short dance in the sun;
It's a miracle we exist at all.
Victims of war, disease, environment and murder,
With multitudes of fools who ignore there call.

Alleluia to all who still attend service,
Or choose to worship at home.
Either way, the faithful will proclaim,
Prayers are heard and we're not alone.
