Hold Your Breath

by Bella   Dec 16, 2005

I wish so many things,
But I wish for you
Less than ever before.
Will there ever be a day
Where we can trust ourselves enough
To trust eachother?
I've never cut.
I've never subjected to that attention
If only to myself.
But neither do you.
Lying is your comfort,
To keep all of the sheep to the shepard.
And the glass that tilts to your lips
With every pill that escapes down your throat.
And you know who you are.
And we both doubt that I care.
Hold on,
Hold it against me.
Hold your breath.
We'll see who still loves the other.
