I Dream of You

As I gaze at the starts at night,
and dream of what is to be . . .
my heart begins to beat much faster,
for it is you I see.

Painted by the gods of the heavens,
your figure glows and glistens Bright
It makes me hope for something more,
As the sun begins to shine her light.

I know that you are so close to me,
but yet so far away.

Dreams aren't truly real,
but somehow love seems real to me.
The hope that there are some things stronger,
Than these small confines of reality.

This was a poem I write with the first boyfriend I ever had. (I have only had two,) and my second ex put this song to guitar music, so yeah, this song means a lot to me. It's from the days that I still believed in love, and those were very nice days. So yeah, I am putting this to music as well, but it is taking a LONG TIME! lol. Enjoy! ^_~
