The Green, Hairy Monster

In a dark and dingy room
A monster this way creeps
It's big and green and hairy
Comes out when you're asleep

It peeks from beneath your bed
Being really quiet
Jumps right up next to you
You scream and cause a riot

He's left you scared and wide awake
You don't know what to do
Turning on the light
You search your bedroom through

Off he goes to hide again
Waiting for you to sleep
And then he will come out again
On your bed he'll leap
