The one who teaches of love
But then makes you h a t e
Gives you understanding
But then says it's too late

The one who makes rich richer
And forces the poor to die
The one who says that truth is the way to life
But he's the one who knows how to truly lie

The one who gave darkness to your past
But now promises that the future's happiness will last

The one who brings the sun down each evening to tell you that you're alone for the night
Yet, sarcastically wishes you sweet dreams of the next morning's light

Does it make sense to believe in someone who only believes in fooling you
The one who pushes you towards d e a t h even after he knew

he steals all your sanity
And leaves your heart in poverty
