Alone Now

She's all alone now,
crying and confused.
he doesn't understand what he is doing to her.
she is just his muse.

he only wants to know she'll be there.
he's killing her inside.
all the pain and all the lies,
are making her want to hide.

she's starting to wonder
if she'll ever figure anything out.
he'll say one thing but mean another,
and she doesn't know what that's about.

she's always there for him,
and he's said he's always there for her.
everything seems perfect,
but underneath it's such a blur.

all she wants is for him to tell her the truth.
she doesn't want to wait for him anymore.
her heart doesn't know what to feel.
it's just getting too sore.

she doesn't want to lose him,
because she's trying to figure this out.
she just wants a straight answer,
but she has a lot of doubt.

she doubts he feels the same for her
as she does for him.
she doubts they'll ever be together.
to him she's just a friend.

now I tell you this,
this poem is from me to you.
you're the boy who won't decide,
and I'm the girl who's alone now,
crying and confused.
