We Are Shadow

You are complimentary to me
as you and I make a pair.
You can be strong
when I am weak
and weak when I am strong
but together we are both strong
because we are more than one.
We are separate
but united.
One but yet two
in that we agree in spirit.
You are in my heart
as I am in yours
and our souls
share a common bond.
I am me
and you are you
but we are also we
which makes a triple bond.
You are closer
than my shadow to me
as I am to you.
When we are together
we cast one shadow
but through our eyes
we bond into each other
in melded unity.
Through communication
we have overcome
obstacles of differences
and through trust
we have shared much.
Our closeness
has combined us
into a friendship
that commits us
to each other
for the good of both.
Through struggled honesty
we have bonded
a common union
shared by both.
We have become we
to the point
of where you start
and I begin
becomes to others
as irrevelant.
As we join
in common purpose
it does not matter
any more who talks
for us because
we complete each other
in a fusion
of human bond.
Our reflection
only shows
and we are shadow.
