A dark love

Looking into each others eyes
seeing emptiness and pain
standing in a thunderstorm
feeling nothing but the rain

their souls both torn
ripped apart
their lives both broken
along with their heart

a dark love
as dark as the night sky
seeming so perfect
but just waiting to die

nothing can survive
with a love this dark
everything around burning
staying to leave its mark
