Only One

I'm sinking slowly,
Into eternal fate,
All I can do,
Is sit here and wait.

No one ever,
Pulled me through,
Slowly from the darkness,
Out came you.

You brought light,
Into my wounded soul,
And took away the feeling,
I could never control.

A feeling of sadness,
Full of woe,
I didn't tell anyone,
I didn't want them to know.

Now things have changed,
I'm as happy as can be,
You helped my heart,
Finally become free.

Thank you for everything,
That you have done,
And helping me through all of this,
You were the only one.
