A Life in Pain

by {AlmostEden}   Dec 17, 2005

I double over in pain
Clutching something tightly for support
Reaching for painkillers with my free hand
Wishing the pain would go away

The stubborn pain persists
I wish I could just die

Like a dark shadow
It follows me

The pain is so unbearable
I tear up, trying to hold the tears in
Longing for a pain free moment
For the chronic pain I suffer

Aww, I couldn't imagine a life full of physical pain. Emotional pain though, that's one nobody can get rid of, it's inevitable unfortunately. Anyway, no rhyme scheme, but stilla solid structure to it, so well done. :)
