Dont let daddy die

She looked out her window,
stared into the sun,
the worst of her nightmares,
had only begun.

Her view had been blocked,
from the tears in her eyes,
taking a deep breath,
she looked up toward the sky.

"Dear heavenly father,
watch as I cry,
for today daddy's sick,
and someday may die.

Please keep him safe,
and don't question why,
No little girl,
wants to say goodbye.

I'll treat him nice,
and pray every night,
but please Jesus Christ,
don't let daddy die"

**My dad has to get heart surgery, and has a good chance of dieing on the operation table..I pray for him everyday...:'(**
