Blessed

There was a time, I wandered alone.
A frozen hour written in stone.
But God has thought a better plan from above,
To send me the power of your true love.
You took my hand and lead me astray,
Down a different road that wasn't so grey.
I saw colour I hadn't seen before,
Saw more of the world, and what was in store.
I'm so glad I found you, I thank God sincerely.
He sent me an angel to help me see clearly.
I hold on so tightly, and sweetly caress.
I love you my angel, I am truly blessed.

Now is a day, with time that I treasure.
You bring me happiness that can't be measured.
Flipping through pictures, and examining times shared.
I remember everything, even when our tempers flared.
Our arguments were simple, never lasted long,
After appreciation brew, love became so strong.
Then we'd joke around, make bad times into good
Lay in eachothers arms, just as we should.
You are my saviour, bring me love that is dressed,
Dreassed in all I've ever dreamt of, I am truly blessed.
