Happy Birthday I'll miss you...

I went to visit you the other day
You didn't have much to say
But enjoyed seeing you all the same
I thought about you a lot today
You would've turned another year older today
The things that you have accomplished
In your many years
Is enough to make a grown man blush
You helped raise me
That in its self is quite a job
The day we had to say goodbye
Was one of the hardest days of my life
People have said i need to learn how to let go
But they didn't know you like i did
You were the most wonderful person
Anyone could ever know
This time of year
Was always our favorite
It'll be hard go through with out you
