Afraid

AFRAID!!

As she sits there and watches him
She wonders why she wasn't good enough
Why she couldn't win when her heart was his
And always his to begin

Friends they are and have always been
Since there were little kids never been apart
And always had each other from the start

But he don't see that it's more then friendship
She needs she fell head over heals in love with him
Never to speak of it never to say only wish
For they day that they can maybe be

And she goes on watching them as they hold
Hands and how this girl has everything she wants in
The palm of her hands, she wish so hard and cries
So much only for her one dream to become her
Reality

Day after day it's always the same she just
Sits there and acts so blue, he wonders what's
Wrong and has asked her many times but afraid
Of what he might say afraid that he break her heart
And walk away, she says she okay

What is she to do what is she to say when
She watching everything she ever wanted just
Slip away, knowing that if she told him
Nothing in there life's would be the same
But afraid of the out come she keeps it all inside
Afraid of what might happened so she hides,
