Say Goodbye

by SmallSurprise   Dec 18, 2005

"It's hard sto say goodbye, but even harder when you never said hello."

Wind rushes across my face
Your hand holds my heart encased

Salty tracks run down my cheeks
I've seen this coming weeks on weeks

My heart folds in two, not beyond repair
Still severely bruised, do you care?

Your warm brown eyes are still in my head
But still my heart feels like it's completely dead

Your tousled hair, almost like mine
My ears hear only an insistent whine

I can't say your name, it hurts me too much
But words come out, short and crushed

"Goodbye" one word, what does it mean?
You used to be my everything

I never got to say hello;
But of my regret, you'll never know

The crack just deepened, the final blow,
But my feelings for you, you'll never know

I'll say goodbye, but it holds no feeling
Because of my heart that you've succeded in stealing
