Wings of Love

by Mathew   Dec 18, 2005

The Birds in the sky play and dance
Doing their daily activities with ease,
And no flaw
None to stop them

As I watch them two eyes each
Following their every move,
I realize the similarity
The closeness they have

Their wings carry them high up
And they never let them fall,
Perfect Accuracy every second
Nothing every wrong

Their wings let them float
Their wings let them fly,
And their wings protect them
Even in the darkest night

I have no wings
I have no flight,
And in the night
I am sleep thought the night

But the wings I have
Same as theirs
Carry me through life
And much much more

My wings are better than their
Faster than their feathers,
Softer than theirs
And safer than theirs

My wings are the result of
The way I feel for you,
The feelings that carry me
Carry me till there are no more stars in the sky
