Dark Sash

Spilt between my eyes
Sip the blood
That drips down the side
Touch the lips
That rip apart
Your daggered fingertips

Dark sash of velvet
Covering a neon sky
Stars so bright
Reflect my eyes
Lock of ribbon
From the white light
The moon has given
My freedom tonight

Black heart, so dark
As the petals
That fall apart
Down a vine
That draws a line
Between the light and dark
