I am the wake you try to sleep
I am the reality you ignore
I am the good you try to keep
You are the one I trust no more

I am the hate in your tears
I am the sorrow in your eyes
I am the demon in you fears
You are the monster behind the lies

I am the sweat upon your flesh
I am the thought in your head
I am the rotten in the fresh
You are the one easily mislead

I am the closest to you
I am your last thought
I am the poison you chew
You are the crime I am the caught

I am the truth you shove away
I am the dark in the light
I am the bed upon which you lay
You are the weakness in the fight

I am what you have to say
I am your life, your next day
I am you
you are me

    The first stanza was simply my favorite .
    So much emotion expressed and felt through-out.....

    I think you might have meant your in the 3rd line ...
