Real or no?

by Robin   Dec 19, 2005

In the depths of misunderstanding,
I stood,
Bathed in the uncertain glow of freedom,
My hearts beat loud,
Dull against my chest,
My ears tuned to the rush of water over rocks,
So gentle paired to the loud thud of my heart.
I licked my lips,
Dry and touched with the tangy taste of salt.
Where was I,
This beautiful heaven,
This unreal ness that swept me away at first glance,
Was this Eden,
Or was I dreaming again,
For this place was only one of dreams,
Nowhere could be this perfect and beautiful.
Real life isnt like this.
