I wish....

I don't expect any votes for this poem, it was written 15 yrs ago, when I just started writing poetry

I wish all I had to say was sorry
and the hurt inside would go
I wish I could tell you everything
I wish I could let you know.

What I said was out of anger
and I took it out on you
now we've both been hurt deeply
because of the stupid things I do.

I care so much for you inside
and it's my fault that we fight
I wish I could erase my past mistakes
I wish I could forget this night.

I'm sorry for being the way I am
it's only because I care
I wish I could hold you in my arms
I wish that you were here.
