Here is to the daughter who doesn't get attention
She is forgotten and never to mention
She is quite and and always hides
Invisible even when she cries

Here is to the sister who is in the shadow
Not a mother to run to no where to go
Her older sister is better in every single way
The only feeling she feels is jealousy everyday

Here is to the girl who just doesn't eat
This diet game has her beat
Why she isn't thin she doesn't get
So she spends her time face down to a toilet

Here is to the boy who isn't strong enough
Getting pushed and picked on because he isn't tough
Weak and scrawny he fails to a disgrace
Hanging out with men he feels out of place

Here is to the mom who is only 15 years old
Thinking why didn't I listen to what I was told
Everyone left you, Your parents and the dad
Waking up to a baby who is crying sad

Here is to the girl who cuts her wrist at night
Life's battle there is no other way to fight
The tears and pain get worst every day
If you ask her whats wrong there is to much to say

Here is to the boy who takes to many pills
Over dosing knowing that it kills
His whole life he was left behind
This is the only way he knows to rewind

Here is to the kids who parents split up
They have seen the baddest of the bad and the roughest of the rough
Mom is always crying and dad is always gone
Wondering when the fear will finally be done

Here is to the girl who's body gets beat
Bruises and slaps put her skin in heat
Praying everyday that dad doesn't come home mad
Always wondering why her life has to be so bad

Here is to the boy who is a geek
No friends and emotional status is weak
Thinking of suicide because he is alone
Him himself is just unknown

Here is to the family who's solider is away
Praying for him to get home safely every day
Christmas is coming up and he wont be here
Living everyday in constant fear

Here is to you who may not have to good
May not be making it through like you know you could
Just remember when it is bad someone has it worst
Someone is just on the edge about to burst
Maybe in this poem is someone you knew
