Hurting inside

She cries inside,
and tries to deny,
the torture and pain,
and feeling insane.

Her one true love who broke her heart,
who made the real her come apart,
the one who said he'd be there,
but his cruelty just doesn't seem fair.

Her best friend is forever and always there,
but she looks through with her with a cold blank stare,
she tries to help and give her a hand,
but time slips away like hourglass sand.

She tries to make her see the pain,
but she realizes she's the only one in the cold rain,
her friends stand by and watch her cry,
but inside they can\'t deny.

That this jerk hurt her bad,
this boy made them all so mad,
sooner or later she'll be back again,
but until then they'll lend a helping hand.

I dedicate this poem to my best friend Sarah cuz she's going through this right now, she's hurt by a jerk,and doesn't realize i'm trying to understand,but i've never been where she's been before,but i'm willing to lend a shoulder to lean on,and cry on, and an open heart to try and help her through it.I love you Sarah,and please talk to me!I want so bad for you to trust me and let me help you, but you won't!and you don't know how bad that hurts!I love you like a sister,and i'd die for you, so please let me help you!!
