War

Bang, bang, boom another life is lost,
a mother now cries, a child now dies,
a war torn country just think what'll cost,
people will die, just think of the lies.

countries are at war, what is this all for,
leaders after pride, while they've all lied,
brothers seeing brothers die while at war,
soldiers in the towns while we sit on side.

hundreds of thousands of people are dead,
lovers lost, widows are now many,
depression is all over, people hang in sheds,
soldiers take people, they'll take any.

war will never do the world good,
people are dead, so protest we should.
